the branch of law concerned with the preparation of documents for the transferring of property.Here we are concentrating on the rules of land law rather than those of conveyancing but we will set the land law rules in their conveyancing context as this will make it easier to appreciate their purpose.

Family Law

 

 

Family law is an area of the law that deals with family matters and domestic relations, including: marriage, civil unions, and domestic partnerships; adoption and surrogacy. child abuse and child abduction.

 

Criminal Law

 

The term criminal law generally refers to substantive criminal laws. Substantive criminal laws define crimes and may establish punishments.In contrast, Criminal Procedure describes the process through which the criminal laws are enforced.

 

Property Law

Property law is that governs the various forms of ownership and tenancy in real property (land as distinct from personal or movable possessions) and in personal property, within the commonlaw legal system.

 

Employment Law

 

 

The area of law that covers all aspects of employer and employeerelationships except the negotiation process covered by labor law and collective bargaining. Most employment laws were established to protect the rights of employees.

 

 

Housing Law

 

Public housing is governed by federal and state laws, which vary by state. States receive federal funding to assist in managing public housing projects.
